In a view of the upcoming Eid Al Adha Holidays, we would like to bring to your attention that all Ministries Government and Public Organisation Head Offices in all GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries will be closed during this period. The Customs offices of the respective countries will be equipped with skeleton staff only.
It has been declared that the Eid Al Adha Holidays in 2019 will take place from Saturday August 10th till Tuesday August 13th. All offices will resume as normal on Wednesday 14th August onwards.
Accordingly, any shipments arriving to the region during this period which require further Government Authority Inspection/Approval or not conforming to respective countries Customs Rules and Regulations may be delayed for clearance and remain at the Cargo Terminals until after the completion of the Eid Al Adha Holidays will not be considered for storage waiver.
All the vessels will arrive as per their advertised schedules, however, in a view of the above, please ensure to plan your shipments to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait during the Eid Holidays accordingly and be aware of possible delays and avoid incurring additional storage costs.
We advise you to check with your DSV contact person of any possible delays regarding your shipment. Exceptionally, in case of an urgency please contact DSV team for further assistance.
